While earning my Google UX/UI Professional Certificate in 2021, I was tasked with developing an app idea involving health information. I started out with the idea of utilizing the same applications offered throughout the medical industry and applying them to veterinarian services. At that time, this type of product wasn’t as prevalent as it is today.

The Product idea is designed to help pet owners access their pets health information, medications, and book appointments online complete with a message center. Pet owners would like access to their pet’s medical information just as easily as their own. Along with the the opportunity for telemedicine use and 24/7 online support and information at no extra cost.
The problem at the time was that, most billing information and online access to pay current bills, view past billing activity is not readily available for pet owners. They would like easy access to their pet’s health information and download vaccination history, chip registrations, transfer prescriptions, book appointments online, and view past medical history-especially when finding a groomer, choosing a doggie-daycare center, travel, and/or other services that require health information.
The Goal for the Vet app would let users find their pet’s health
information online which allows pet owners access to past health
summaries, medications, vaccination history and chip registration.
Effectiveness is measured by conducting multivariable logistic
regression analysis to evaluate trends over time in experiences with
accessing health information and to examine differences by
sociodemographic variables.
