This app was created for submission for an opportunity to work on a project for Futures Without Violence, a health and social justice nonprofit agency. Applicants were tasked with building an app to reach new audiences and transform social norms.
The concept started with pulling from one of their core beliefs- that starting early in investing prevention strategies for children, youth and teens will promote healthy parent-child relationships, friendships, and dating relationships.
The Emotional Intelligence app explores self awareness, self-regulation, empathy, social skills and motivation with guided learning-using interactive worksheets, videos and reading materials while establising goals and elevating improvement markers.
The framework and self-improvement activities are useful to students, teachers, and anyone looking to explain the importance of emotions in your life, understanding others, and how they are the core to expressing empathy.
The submission included an interactive hi-fi app demonstration, a brand styleguide, and case study-including personas, user flow, usability studies, and a responsive web site prototype.

Building a brand that seamlessly spans both print and digital platforms includes elements, from the logo’s intricate design to the color palette’s harmonious blend. They should not only captivate in print but also translate seamlessly to the digital realm. In the digital space, user interfaces should mirror the sophistication found in printed materials, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience. Fonts play a dual role, commanding attention on a tangible page and ensuring readability on various screens.
